Mohamed Sherif was born in Old Cairo, Egypt, and spent his childhood between As Sayyeda Zaynab and Salam City. He graduated from Cairo University with a degree in Management, but his true passion has always been photography. In 2019, he began capturing moments with an old film camera, initially as a hobby.

The vibrant street life of Old Cairo, where he grew up, deeply influenced Mohamed Sherif and became the focal point of his photographic work. What started as a hobby quickly evolved into a profound passion for visual storytelling. By 2021, he began sharing his photographic journey on Instagram, experimenting with various perspectives and techniques to capture the unique atmosphere of his surroundings.

For Mohamed Sherif, photography is the art of capturing the soul and its myriad expressions through the lens of a camera. Each shot is a visual translation of a deep, intimate connection, where light and shadow converge to reveal hidden beauty. He sees photography as an introspective journey, where the photographer communicates their deepest interactions with the world around them.

Every shot reflects an existential philosophy, visible in the harmony of colors, the composition of elements, and the captivating gazes of the subjects. Photography transforms fleeting moments into timeless works of art—stories that transcend words and speak directly to the heart.

Beyond technique, photography is a silent dialogue between the soul and the universe, a quest to discover beauty in the smallest details and to explore life's meanings with passion and creativity.
